Rivah rivah, bank bank!

Just a quick update for tonight!  Today was a fun day.  We always start with 5 psalms at each meal.  We all ventured to Calvary Baptist to play futbol with the nationals.  The boys stayed, joined by our missionary friends, and the girls went to Molepolole Baptist.  We played games with some of the children, including Lions and Zebras (Sharks and Minnows) and a game called River Bank, which we will have to teach you all!  Hope was a champ and beat all the children, just saying. Some girls did evangelism too.  The guys and Megan went to the pastor’s house for lunch after a full day of futbol, and fortunately there were no injuries apart from the Americans’ pride. Then all of us went out riding around “the Bush” on the back of Mr. Davis’s safari vehicle!  We returned to the Davis’s for some relaxation and lasagna with impala meat….mmm.  We are just about to worship together, but we wanted to say hello and we love you!  Praise God for an awesome day of fellowship and fun.

Love,

The B-Team

ps: The Davis’s dog named squirt ate Megan’s shoes.  JK, but she did cry.

…but then she was ok.

    Hi Matthew and Emily,
How are you?? We miss you very very much! We went to one of your 2nd cousin’s wedding today and everyone was asking about where you were. They had their wedding outside in an ampitheater and their reception in a barn! It was great!!
We are heading back to Williamsburg for a couple of days. Corey took us to a crazy movie yesterday called “Inception” and then we did some bowling at AMF!
We know you are having an amazing time, and we continue to pray for you and the people you meet. Remember to write it all down and take lots of pictures!
    Love you,
    Mom and Dad

    Bryan!
Forgot to mention in my last post, Craig Tackett told me to tell you that he is keeping you and the rest of the team in his prayers and that you all are doing an amazing thing over there. And that he would have known you were in Africa if “someone” (meaning you haha) kept in contact (: Plus he called you, and I quote, “a butthead” haha, he says that with love (:
Hope you’re having an amazing time and I can’t wait to hear the stories when you all get back!
    -dillonnn (:
    ps- I love youuuu Megannn!!!!

    B-Team –

It is so awesome to hear from you… what you you guys have done and are doing in obedience to the Great Commission. Its gonna be so cool to see those people in heaven one day.

Logan – I hope you’ve got some pictures of your “field dressing” experience. We miss you so much and its just not right being here at the beach without you. But we know you are where you’re suppose to be today. If it makes it any easier, its raining like crazy this morning (Sunday). So we have not gone out yet. Al got new AC units so they aren’t as loud as before, but that’s about all that’s different. We’ll eat a Fudrucker burger for you tonight…

Team – After being there, its still hard to be on this side of the Blog, so I can’t wait to hear the stories. Remember, the second half is when the enemy usually tries to screw things up. Finish strong… and again… watch for God’s hand and the little things he has done, and will do, the rest of time.

We love and continue to pray for you guys. I’ve become really cognizant of my watch these days… you see, it beeps at the top of every hour. I thank God everytime I hear it an lift you guys up. Its so cool to have that little reminder.

    Stay Strong For Him !!!

    Hey Rachel!

Thinking about you today and praying for you especially! I pray God gives you peace and happiness! I know today is a hard day for you, but God is comforting you! I miss you tons girl and I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE!!! Have a great day 🙂 I wish I could talk to you. I can’t wait until you are home…I need my bible lesson buddy! Last Thursday’s lesson went well. We talked about Philippians 2:9 and the word “exalt”. At the end of class, they each received chocolate coin medals and everyone was cheering each time someone got their medal! It was rather funny, actually! Alright, well I know you are having an amazing time in Africa! Love you lots and to the rest of the team… miss you and love you!

    Mi hermana….

Favre is REALLY gonna retire. Like seriously. I’m not joking. He told his team. His ankle isn’t healing like he wanted it to.

Just thought I’d let you know.

    We love you!!

  12. Andrew Creighton says:

Ok so either you all need to come home or I just need to come to Africa…I’m thinkin the latter is the better option. Still prayin that God will use y’all in ways you you can’t even imagine. Can’t wait to see y’all when you get home!

    PEACE!

    Andrew

Hey Team–How exciting it is to read your blog each day and see how God is using you to share His love. Your experience there will be a life-changing one, no doubt. You remain in my prayers throughout the day as God brings you to mind. Take care, and may His blessings be many. Much love, Linda McNally
